is an old idea of mine which has its roots in the :devthe-yard-collective: group, long before it was even a group. Older deviants remember the time when groups were clubs. I started posting this weekly feature back then, every Friday afternoon, showcasing 7 street shots that had been submitted to the club and had caught my attention during the past week. The feature lasted for a long time, untill I left dA for personal reasons for few months. Of cold, country, mountains and serpentine roads

Its winter season and being from the southern part of India the idea of chilly winters have deserted us ever since. This time i happen to be in the northern part of the country, so am all excited!! In-fact I am now on a vacation and am travelling further north and further up.

The country-side in India is as interesting as it gets. The people are amazing and the food is gorgeous, so much so that u can't help but misplace the adjectives. Photographically its going to be a learning experience. I will be having some trouble using my 70-300 in tandem with the 18-105. The cold too keeps me lazy, and inside. But the beauty is captivating and am looking forward to an amazing week ahead. Hoping to get some memorable captures!!

The serpentine roads that run through the mountains is something that i love, especially as this time round i will be driving the hefty Mitsubishi MONTERO !! Come Friday I elope to mountains of madness!!
